If you didn't get a place in the classic Inca Trail, the Salkantay Trek is a spectacular option. You cross the snow-capped Salkantay mountains, cloud forests and end up in, yes, Machu Picchu. This route has gained fame for its beauty and lower tourist influx.

8.- John Muir Trail - United States
